The Role
We are currently recruiting for HGV Class 2 Refuse Collection Vehicle (RCV) Drivers to join our client's growing waste management team.
This role involves collecting commercial waste, general waste and food waste from a variety of business customers, ensuring collections are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard of customer service.
You will be accompanied by a dedicated Loader, however this is a physically active role and drivers are expected to assist with loading and collections when required to help the team complete the daily schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- . Safely operate a Class 2 Refuse Collection Vehicle (RCV).
- . Complete scheduled collections of commercial, general and food waste.
- . Assist the Loader with manual handling and loading duties as required.
- . Carry out daily vehicle safety inspections and defect reporting.
- . Follow planned collection routes while maintaining excellent customer service.
- . Ensure compliance with all road transport, health & safety and environmental legislation.
- . Complete all relevant paperwork or electronic records accurately.
