We are currently recruiting for a Kitchen Assistant / Pot Wash to support a busy education setting kitchen on a temporary basis.
This is a role ideal for someone who comfortable working in a busy kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Washing pots, pans and kitchen equipment
- Operating the dishwasher
- Clearing down and keeping the kitchen clean and tidy
- Supporting the kitchen team with general tasks as required
- There may occasionally be some basic food preparation, although this is not expected to be a regular part of the role
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday 7:00am-1:30pm
Requirements
- Comfortable working in a busy kitchen environment
- Sensible, anti-slip shoes/trainers are required for this role
- Dark clothing to be worn
- The school will provide an apron and can also provide a hairnet/hat.
