SEND Teacher Duties:
- Planning and delivering engaging lessons tailored to individual learning needs
- Supporting pupils with SEND to access the curriculum and achieve their targets
- Creating an inclusive and structured learning environment
- Working closely with teaching assistants, the SENDCo, and external professionals
- Monitoring pupil progress and contributing to EHCP reviews where appropriate
- Promoting pupils' confidence, independence, and wellbeing
Ideal SEND Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching pupils with SEND
- Strong understanding of differentiated teaching strategies
- Knowledge of EHCPs and SEND best practice
- Excellent behaviour management and communication skills
- Passion for inclusive education and pupil development
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
