We would welcome a qualified social worker to join the CMHT in Helensburgh, which is an integrated team working with Health colleagues. Argyll and Bute is one of Scotland’s most stunning areas. The SW practitioners work within the CMHT in Oban which is an integrated team with health practitioners. The CMHT provides a range of supports to those who are experiencing mental health difficulties. The social worker should have knowledge and experience of care management duties and legislation; Adult Support and Protection; Adults with Incapacity and the Mental Health (Care and Treatment) (Scotland) Act 2003.
A recognised Social Work qualification is required. It would be desirable to hold an MHO post graduate award, or be willing to undertake training in the future.
