We are currently looking for a compassionate and experienced Night-Time Care Assistant to join our dedicated team at a well-established care home in Littleover. This is a rewarding opportunity to provide essential overnight support to our elderly residents in a warm and welcoming environment.

As a key member of our night staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the comfort, dignity, and safety of residents living with age-related conditions such as Dementia and Alzheimer’s, as well as those receiving respite care. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting regular well-being checks
  • Assisting with personal care for both male and female residents
  • Supporting mobility needs using equipment such as hoists, slings, and rotundas
  • Responding promptly and compassionately to call bells
  • Carrying out light domestic duties to maintain a clean and safe environment

To be considered for this role, you must hold a practical moving and handling certificate dated within the last six months. If you take pride in delivering high-quality, person-centred care and want to be part of a supportive and friendly team in Littleover, we would love to hear from you.

To be suitable for this position, you must have:

  • An Enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months
  • Up-to-date mandatory training—including practical moving and handling training dated within the past 6 months
  • A referenceable work history covering a minimum of three years
  • At least three months of previous experience within a UK-based care home setting

If you do not currently have a valid DBS or up-to-date training, don’t worry—we can help. We offer online training at a subsidised fee, and the certificates are yours to keep.

Please note that we do not offer sponsorships for this role. This role offers ongoing opportunities for the right candidate. We have Full Time and Part Time Hours available. The hours are 20:00 to 08:00 on various nights between Monday to Sunday.
