Bupa Hatfield Peverel Care Home is looking for a Registered Nurse to join our team on a Bank Contract, mainly covering nights. The hourly rate is £20.74 - £23.51, depending on experience.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Taking responsibility for the well-being of our residents and ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
  • Coaching and guiding the team, providing formal and informal teaching programmes for colleagues and other care professionals.
  • Carrying out assessments and developing, implementing, and evaluating individualised care plans for each resident.
  • Monitoring work areas and practices to ensure they are safe and conform to relevant standards, policies, and legislation.

Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:

  • As a Registered Nurse with a valid NMC pin, you will manage the unit alongside clinical duties in the home.
  • Previous experience ensuring policies and standards are kept to a high clinical standard.
  • Confident in offering clinical guidance for care teams and assisting with CQC tasks.
  • Effective communication and reporting skills are essential for handing over clinical issues to other team members and healthcare professionals.
  • Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to manage care staff while remaining calm in emergency situations.
