We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join a reputable franchise dealership in Hastings, East Sussex.

Duties of a Vehicle Technician
- Diagnosing vehicle faults using modern diagnostic equipment and systematic approaches
- Servicing and repairs to manufacturer standards
- Liaising directly with customers to understand vehicle issues and explain necessary work
- Conducting road tests and quality checks post-repair
- Ensuring safety standards are upheld at all times within the workshop
- Completing all relevant documentation in line with brand and warranty requirements
- Maintaining workshop housekeeping standards and the use of personal tools
- Collaborating with colleagues and service advisors to deliver high standards of service
Requirements of a Vehicle Technician
- NVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalent
- Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician, ideally within a main dealership
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment
- Strong troubleshooting skills and proactive approach
- Organisational skills and time management abilities
- MOT licence preferred but not essential
- A positive attitude, with a commitment to quality and customer satisfaction
