C2 Recruitment is looking for Retail Drivers to join a successful team supporting stocktaking projects for some of the UK's leading retailers.
This is a varied, hands-on role where you'll not only drive your team safely to and from sites but also work alongside them carrying out stock counts using the latest handheld technology.
No two shifts are the same, making this an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys travel, teamwork and working in a fast-paced environment.
The Role
As a Retail Driver, you'll be responsible for transporting a small team of stock counters to different retail stores across your region using a company-provided 8-seater minibus.
Once on site, you'll work alongside your team completing accurate stock counts using handheld scanners, helping to deliver high-quality results for our customers.
Your responsibilities will include
- Driving your team safely to and from customer sites
- Planning pick-up points and ensuring your team arrives on time
- Completing attendance records for each shift
- Reporting any vehicle issues promptly
- Carrying out accurate stock counts using handheld scanning equipment
- Working as part of a team to complete stocktakes efficiently
- Maintaining excellent standards of accuracy and customer service
- Shifts are typically
8-10 hours , with your driving time paid in addition to your shift .
As the role supports retailers across the region, early mornings, evenings and night shifts will be required.
What We're Looking For
- Full UK Driving Licence
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Reliable, organised and able to lead a small team
- Comfortable working long shifts when required
- Confident using technology or willing to learn
- Previous retail or stocktaking experience is helpful but not essential as full training is provided
- Due to the nature of the role and vehicle insurance requirements, applicants must be
25 years of age or over .
