Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 am - 5:00 pm
We have an opportunity for an experienced Carpenter Multi-Trade to join a growing housing contractor, working in partnership with Harrow Council and covering Harrow, Stanmore, Edgware, and Northolt.
Responsibilities:
- Carrying out a variety of carpentry tasks, including framing, and door/window installations.
- Completing general maintenance work such as basic plumbing, tiling, plastering, and painting.
- Delivering both reactive and planned maintenance in occupied and void properties.
- Operating and maintaining tools and equipment responsibly.
- Providing excellent customer service to tenants and housing association representatives.
- Using an electronic hand held PDA device to receive and update job information, ensuring timely and accurate records of completed work.
Requirements:
- Full UK Driving Licence (manual)
- NVQ Level 2 in Carpentry (essential)
- Basic DBS Check
- Company vehicle, fuel card, and uniform included as part of the role package.
- Overtime opportunities available, including evenings and weekends.
- Participation in a rotational on-call schedule providing out of hours support for emergency repairs.
