A Female Child Support Assistant is required to support a 10‑year‑old girl with indoor & outdoor activities during school holidays. The girl loves being outdoors, playgrounds, swimming, arts & crafts. Please note: The girl is a twin and her brother also requires similar support.

Location: Harrogate

Key responsibilities:

  • Must be reliable, caring, patient and enjoy working with children.
  • The role will involve assisting with day‑to‑day care and engagement in age‑appropriate activities, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of the child are adhered to.

Requirements:

  • Fluent English Speaking
  • Driver with a car, clean driving licence and business insurance.
  • Experience of working with autism
  • Trustworthy
  • Can build a positive and supportive relationship with a young person.
  • Having a calm and friendly manner is essential.

Hours: 20 hours per week during school holidays (13 weeks per year/260 hours per year) which are flexible.
