We are currently recruiting for a Production & Blending Operative to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis.
Previous experience in automotive blending, production, warehouse operations or quality assurance would be advantageous, although full training will be provided. The successful candidate will be reliable, safety-conscious and able to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out product blending in accordance with strict specifications and production requirements
- Perform quality checks to ensure products meet required standards
- Operate and monitor mixing vessels and associated production equipment
- Learn and follow site pipework, storage tank and production systems
- Work towards and achieve daily production targets
- Load and unload tankers safely and efficiently
- Handle materials and goods with care and attention to detail
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment
- Follow all company health and safety procedures and instructions
- Work effectively as part of a team while maintaining a high standard of individual performance
- Undertake overtime when required to support production requirements
Skills & Experience
- Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence preferred
- Previous experience in production, blending, warehouse operations or quality control advantageous
- Ability to carry out repetitive tasks consistently and accurately
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual and committed approach to work
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines
- Flexible approach to working hours
- Good understanding of workplace health and safety
Qualifications & Experience
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred
- Counterbalance Forklift Licence preferred
