Duties of a Service Advisor
- Managing workshop bookings and work flow independently
- Providing accurate estimates for costs and repair times to customers
- Advising customers on required work and scheduling services
- Ordering parts and processing invoicing and warranty claims
- Maintaining long-term customer relationships
- Ensuring the reception and workspace remain professional and tidy
- Enhancing customer experience through attentive and proactive service
- Handling all customer interactions independently
Requirements of a Service Advisor
- Proven experience as a Service Advisor or Senior Service Advisor within the motor trade
- Ability to work confidently with minimal supervision
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Good automotive knowledge and understanding of workshop processes
- Self-motivated, proactive, and professional demeanor
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and effectively
