Salary: £25,308.79 - £27,180.57 (Based on 44.25 hours a week)

This award-winning part residential school is a specialist independent provision supporting learners with Autism and SEN needs. This setting is seeking a Support Worker to join the team on a full-time basis. This role is needed Monday-Friday or Monday-Sunday and full-time employees will work 44.25 hours a week. Part-time candidates will be considered and welcomed. This is a term time only role due to being a school and residential setting.

Support workers for this setting are expected to work a variety of shifts. Please see the shifts listed below:

  • Monday-to-Friday-only (up to 44.25hrs), a combination of: 06:45 to 13:30, 15:45 to 22:00, Long day, split shift option of 06:45 to 13:30 followed by 15:45 to 22:00
  • Monday-to-Sunday (up to 44.25hrs), a combination of: 06:45 to 13:30, 15:45 to 22:00, Long day, split shift option of 06:45 to 13:30 followed by 15:45 to 22:00, 12:00 to 22:00, 06:45 to 16:00

This is a children and young people school and residential setting supporting learners between the ages of 5-25 years of age. This setting offers a bright, modern and welcoming environment with facilities and technology that any school/day centre would dream of. All therapies are done on site and every learner is offered an individualised education and care plan. The school and residential setting values are trust, empowerment and building confidence.   • Relevant teaching assistant, childcare or adult care experience (desirable)
  • Experience working or supporting young adults or children with SEN or personal experience with SEN (desirable)
