Home Start Birmingham North & Inner City is a Registered Charity committed to helping parents build better lives for their children to give them the best possible start in life. This is an exciting opportunity working with our experienced team. We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and flexible, part time Group Leader / Engagement Officer for 18 hours per week over 3 days, (Tuesday / Wednesday / Thursday).

You will be required to work alongside children, young people and families with a focus on parenting, family life, early learning to build confidence and breakdown isolation. To promote HSBNIC within the local communities, building networks with local referrers.

  • A relevant NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in early learning / development is required.
  • Applicants should have excellent communication skills, be self-motivated and able to manage your own workload.
  • An open-minded, non-judgemental approach.
  • Applicants require a valid driving licence and use of a car.
