We are currently seeking an experienced and qualified MET Technician to join a leading accident repair centre in Grimsby, Lincolnshire.

Duties of a MET Technician

  • Carry out mechanical repairs and bodywork on allocated vehicles
  • Conduct dismantling, fault diagnosis, and diagnostic work
  • Perform reassembly using new parts as required
  • Conduct inspections and vehicle testing to ensure safety and roadworthiness
  • Identify faults or additional work necessary for safety or efficiency
  • Road test vehicles safely and legally when instructed
  • Maintain high standards of quality control throughout all repair processes

Requirements of a MET Technician

  • Proven experience as a MET Technician within the automotive industry
  • Attention to detail and high-quality workmanship
  • Good communication skills to work effectively within a team
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • ATA qualification advantageous but not essential
  • A strong commitment to safety and vehicle quality
