We are now offering a fantastic opportunity to join the Grimsby Institute in the role of an Executive Personal Assistant.

About the role
The Executive Personal Assistant to the Campus Principal will provide a highly professional, confidential and proactive support service to the Campus Principal and College Leadership Team.
The postholder will manage complex diaries, coordinate meetings, prepare correspondence, reports and presentations, and act as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
They will oversee the Further Education PA and administration team across The Grimsby Institute, ensuring the delivery of efficient administrative systems and high-quality customer service.
The role requires excellent organisation, forward planning and the ability to prioritise competing demands while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
The postholder will be expected to support the wider leadership team as required, contribute to continuous improvement of administrative processes, and promote the values and expectations of the TEC Partnership, including safeguarding, health and safety, equality and inclusion.
About the person
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in administration or executive support, ideally with a minimum of two years' experience and previous experience within the Further Education sector is desirable.
The postholder will
- Demonstrate excellent communication, organisational and time management skills.
- Be highly competent in Microsoft Office and other IT systems.
- Have experience of managing diaries, coordinating meetings and producing accurate minutes.
- Experience of supervising administration staff would be advantageous.
- Experience supporting senior leaders, directors or executive teams.
- An understanding of safeguarding responsibilities, health and safety requirements.
The postholder will be self-motivated, able to build effective professional relationships at all levels, work with discretion and confidentiality, and remain calm when managing multiple priorities.
An understanding of safeguarding responsibilities, health and safety requirements, and an Enhanced DBS clearance are essential for this role.
The suitable candidate
- You will hold GCSE English and Mathematics at Grade 4/C or above (or equivalent).
- May hold a degree-level qualification (desirable).
