THE ROLE

As a Back of House Assistant, you'll play an important behind-the-scenes role helping Lapland UK's Toy Factory and Mother Christmas' Kitchen run smoothly.

You'll support production, prepare products and activities, check quality and ensure everything is ready for our guests to enjoy.

You'll

  • Assemble, package and label products according to required specifications
  • Support the preparation of activities and guest experiences
  • Monitor production processes to ensure quality and consistency
  • Check materials and finished products for accuracy and quality
  • Follow operating procedures and safety guidelines
  • Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment
  • Work closely with team members and Stage Management
  • Help identify and resolve issues that could affect production
  • Support different tasks across the operation when required

SKILLS NEEDED

  • Positive, enthusiastic and willing to get involved
  • Reliable and able to work well as part of a team
  • Organised with strong attention to detail
  • Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced environment
  • Able to follow processes and instructions accurately
  • Flexible and willing to support different tasks when required
  • Calm and professional under pressure
  • Previous production, warehouse, hospitality or operational experience is desirable but not essential

REQUIREMENTS

  • Available for the full live event period from 5 November to 24 December 2026
  • Available to commit to a minimum of three shifts per week
  • Available to attend all required paid training between late October and early November 2026
  • Comfortable working in a busy operational environment
  • Able to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Comfortable carrying out repetitive tasks and movement throughout shifts
  • Able to lift and carry items weighing up to 10kg
  • Able to follow safety procedures and operational guidelines

  • Phones and smartwatches must be stored in lockers while on shift
