You will be supporting schools in a range of environments, delivering Maths lessons across Key Stages as part of general supply cover in Great Yarmouth and the surrounding areas of Acle and Lowestoft.
Duties as a Maths Teacher:
- Deliver engaging Maths lessons following provided plans
- Teach across a range of topics including algebra, geometry, number, and statistics
- Support students in developing problem-solving and analytical skills
- Assess, monitor, and record pupil progress where required
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Manage behaviour effectively in line with school policies
- Contribute to departmental planning during longer-term placements
Ideal Maths Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics
- Ability to inspire and motivate students of mixed abilities
- Confident classroom and behaviour management skills
- Adaptable and comfortable working in various school settings
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of pupils
