We are currently recruiting HGV Class 1 Night Tramper Drivers to join our team.
This role involves transporting packaged timber between depots on drop-and-swap routes, with no manual handling required, making it ideal for experienced drivers seeking a night shift position.
Responsibilities
- Transport packaged timber between depots.
- Drop-and-swap trailer work.
- All products are forklift unloaded, so no manual handling is required.
- Check load straps at the start of each shift.
- Unstrap and restrap loads as required.
- Check straps and ensure loads have been secured correctly on each trailer (full training will be provided on correct timber loading).
Requirements
- Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- No more than 6 penalty points.
- No drink-driving, drug-driving, or insurance-related driving convictions.
- Safety boots and a high-visibility vest are required.
