Where you'll be working? At M Group Water we help our clients safeguard the water supply, improve environmental performance and manage demand for future generations. We enhance and extend asset life, ensuring compliance with water quality and environmental standards. We’re problem solvers with over 140 years of combined experience in engineering and infrastructure. This role will join BGEN - one of the UK's largest multidisciplinary design and build contractors with over 100 years of industry experience. We support clients in the water, power & energy, pharmaceutical, nuclear and food and beverage industries to deliver next generation, value-added engineering solutions.

What you'll be doing? You’ll be the go-to technical expert for both field and office-based engineering teams, providing practical support, guidance and troubleshooting to ensure work is delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard. You’ll carry out detailed site surveys, working closely with clients to understand requirements and producing clear, accurate cost estimates for any remedial or additional works identified. You’ll be responsible for developing thorough Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS), ensuring all activities are properly planned, risks are mitigated and project teams are fully briefed before work commences. You’ll support the Project Delivery team throughout the project lifecycle, sourcing materials, tracking progress and proactively highlighting any risks, issues or potential delays to help keep projects on schedule. You’ll manage a range of minor works projects from inception through to completion, while also supporting the delivery of larger-scale projects, ensuring quality, efficiency and programme objectives are achieved.

What you’ll bring? Do you have proven MEICA experience gained within a fast-paced environment? Do you have the ability to confidently manage high-volume, short-duration site-based works? Do you have an understanding of water and wastewater processes and the equipment associated with them? Do you have knowledge of temporary works and confined space practices? Do you hold a valid UK driving licence and have the flexibility to provide support across multiple sites?
