Role: Full-time, Permanent Nursery Manager
This nursery is newly opened and is looking for an experienced and dedicated nursery manager to develop this unique flagship nursery.
This small family run business is aiming to build a new flexible solution, creating a pay as you go childcare solution.
- Level 3 Early Years Practitioner Qualification, full and relevant
- A strong understanding of Ofsted requirements and the EYFS programme
- Nursery management experience (at least 2 years)
- Strong leadership skills, promoting a positive staff culture and the professional development of the team
- Strong ability to build a rapport with parents, children and community partners.
- Experience with safeguarding procedures
- Enhanced DBS on the update service
Key Responsibilities
- Recruit and develop team members, providing ongoing support and plans to ensure the teams high performance.
- Ensure the curriculum is fully implemented in line with EYFS.
- Act as the DSL, ensuring all children are safeguarded and issues are dealt with accordingly.
- Manage the P&L of the nursery with support of the directors.
- Promoting a positive, inclusive environment for children, parents and staff. Fostering strong relationships, where everyone feels valued.
