Salary: £13.45 per hour increasing to £13.95 per hour after successful completion of 6-months probationary period.

LOCATION: AMBER THERAPEUTIC – DIDCOT, OXFORD

JOB TYPE: PART TIME

HOURS OF WORK: Monday to Friday 5:00am to 7:00am

JOB PURPOSE:

We are looking for an enthusiastic, hardworking individual to join our friendly team working in Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) environments and admin areas. You will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of all designated areas as directed using appropriate equipment and/or materials as supplied.

Duties to include:

  • Produce GDP Compliant reports and documentation
  • Cleaning in the GMP (sterile environment), administration areas (offices & toilets)
  • Maintain the highest standard of cleanliness within assigned areas by ensuring that the relevant work instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs) are followed
  • Ensure accurate completion of area logbooks as required by SOPs
  • Ensure regular checks of the equipment and machines used during the working day. Any faults/defects to be reported to GMP Cleaning Area Manager
  • Participate in the Health and Safety Policy of the Company and report any dangers or hazards to GMP Cleaning Supervisor/Team Leaders
  • Attend training sessions appertaining to post.
  • Carry out any duties as required by the GMP Cleaning Leadership Team
  • Liaise on a daily basis with other members of the cleaning team, other staff, and customers.

All employees are required to, and are responsible for adhering to Quality, Compliance and Environmental, Health and Safety regulations and Micronclean procedures applicable to their role. Full training will be provided to ensure that the procedures are understood, and responsibilities are defined.

Requirements:

  • Previous cleaning experience
  • Must have a good level of written and spoken English
  • General good health
  • Reasonable standard of fitness as job holder on feet for duration of the shift
  • Prepared to wear full uniform at all times including Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as directed by Line Manager and in accordance with the working instructions / procedures
  • Prepared to work to strict timelines in isolated areas and follow stringent dress codes relevant to GMP
  • Good standard of IT literacy – Microsoft Office
  • Flexible, regarding ability to support other shift patterns when required
  • Desirable but not essential: Experience within a similar industry
  • Team worker with a flexible approach
  • Knowledge of COSHH
  • An understanding of GMP and quality systems
  • Machinery skills
