The predicted salary is between 20168 - 23599 £ per year.
Salary: Band 3 £20,168 - £23,599 per annum term time only. Term time only, 3 days per week. Two year fixed term contract at Band 3 £20,168 - £23,599 per annum term time only (FTE Band 3 £44,819 - £52,444). Or a SECONDMENT opportunity worth up to £31,000 per annum to be paid to the school or other employer.
We are seeking a passionate, experienced and outstanding RE teacher to support our family of church schools with the development and delivery of RE and other aspects of Christian distinctiveness.
About the Role
- Supporting and enabling the effective development of Christian Character, including RE, Spirituality and Collective Worship, in our Diocesan Church Schools in accordance with related policy and priorities set by the GDBE.
- Creating and supporting sustainable peer support networks within the Diocesan family of church schools and trusts that will sustain and progress this beyond the life of this fixed term contract.
- Please note that it is anticipated that the focus of the role will initially be on RE as a priority area and is anticipated to move into other areas later in the contract, once key priorities in RE are achieved.
About You
- Is recognised to be an exceptional practitioner of RE teaching.
- Has an understanding of the current developments in Religious Education.
- Can work creatively and collaboratively in different school contexts.
- Would welcome the opportunity to deliver and promote the Christian distinctiveness in church schools.
- Is highly organised and self-motivated.
