36 hours per Month - Two-week shift Rota (Week one Thursday 6 hours, Week two Thursday 6 hours, Saturday 6 hours)
Role
We are looking for a personal assistant to be a companion for a 76-year-old male.
This gentleman has suffered a stroke on the right side of his body, and this has also impacted his speech.
We are looking for someone to keep this gentleman company as well as active as he enjoys writing; drawing; dominos and drives etc.
Our client would benefit from a worker who has experience of the care field and who has worked with stroke patients for instance.
Applicants must have a caring attitude, have a good sense of humour, be reliable with a positive and flexible approach to work.
Minimal personal care as may need to assist if issues when out or short staffed.
This role requires an enhanced check through PVG (Protecting Vulnerable Groups).

- Provision of minimal personal care
- Accompaniment to activities, outings etc.
