Hours: 5 Hours Per Week (Wednesday or Friday)
We are looking for a personal care assistant for our client who is a 68-year-old woman with a long-term disability. Our client currently has a team of carers and is looking for another person to work with her privately. Our client is looking for someone who is motivated, practical, with a positive outlook and a can-do attitude to help her to maintain her independence at home, and out and about.
In this role you will be assisting our client with:
- Making phone calls
- Going to the hairdresser
- Some food preparation
Our client has limited mobility and uses a powerchair in and out of her home. Our client has cerebral palsy and uses her iPad to communicate with others. Part of this role will also involve some personal care.
Being a driver is essential to allow our client to get out and about in her own vehicle. Applicants must have a caring attitude, be honest and kind, have a good sense of humour, and be reliable with a positive and flexible approach to work. Having experience within this area would be of benefit but is not essential.
