Personal Assistant - 14.5 hours per week - Dunfermline (SDS/IE/ )
We are seeking a caring, reliable and enthusiastic Personal Assistant to support a 64-year-old man with Secondary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis to live well and maintain his independence in Dunfermline.
Our client is outgoing, friendly and enjoys conversation with the people who support him.
Due to his condition, he requires assistance with all aspects of personal care, delivered with dignity, respect and patience.
The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and the ability to follow the client’s guidance, as he is able to communicate his specific needs and preferences.
He enjoys getting out for walks, football, cinema, theatre, music, snooker and exercise classes.
You should be friendly and outgoing, with a positive outlook, a good sense of humour and a calm, supportive approach.
Applicants are advised that this role will be carried out in a non-smoking environment.
Applicants should have a caring attitude, be dependable, and bring a positive and flexible approach to their work.
As the role requires flexibility, applicants should live locally to the Dunfermline area, if possible.
