In these Mobile Catering Supervisor posts, you would be responsible for all activities in the kitchen and its surrounds including cooking, organisation and supervision of food service. Supervising staff working in the kitchen. You must be aware of HACCP procedures - completing required paperwork including electronic returns. Understanding dietary and nutritional needs. Duties may also include transporting and serving of meals, general kitchen and dining room duties (for example washing up, setting up and clearing away equipment and tables), cleaning of the kitchen and its surround.

We currently have a temporary vacancy to join our team within schools and nurseries in East Fife: 25 hours per week working Monday to Friday on a temporary 39 week term time contract.

You will earn a competitive salary of £26,786.83 to £29,170.80 pro-rata and have access to a range of benefits, including:

  • £14.27 per hour to start.
  • Pay is annualised (equal instalments every 4 week pay period).
  • Travel expenses will be paid – we pay 45 pence per mile to staff using their own car.
  • Access to and support with training opportunities and qualifications for the job.

  • Generous holiday allowance.
  • Membership of Fife Pension Fund which is part of the Scottish Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS Scotland).
  • Training on all in house systems will be provided.
  • Working towards an Intermediate Food Hygiene Certificate will be essential once in post if not already held.
