NRL is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our client’s team on an initial 3-month temporary contract, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

  • - Build and maintain in-depth knowledge of MAE and equipment maintenance techniques to deliver efficient service.
  • - Share information with team members to support shared objectives and effectiveness.
  • - Use expertise to improve MAE reliability through proactive planning and execution.
  • - Generate and share improvement ideas to optimise performance.
  • - Identify and eliminate root causes of unplanned downtime.
  • - Complete planned and follow-up maintenance tasks to a high standard.
  • - Detect common faults and propose practical solutions.
  • - Reduce waste and inefficiencies through planned activity.
  • - Contribute to the development of systems, procedures and work standards that enhance existing processes.
  • - Maintain a strong working knowledge of CNC and general engineering machinery.
  • Must-have Requirements
  • - ONC/HNC in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent) and/or relevant industry experience.
  • - Competent in Microsoft Office products.
  • - Solid understanding of Health & Safety requirements.
  • - Excellent attention to detail.
