40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm (30-minute unpaid break)
About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking
Warehouse Operative / Porter to join our busy and friendly team.
This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced warehouse environment, supporting the storage, preparation and delivery of premium wines, beers, spirits and other products.
Working closely with the Cellar Manager and wider warehouse team, you'll play a key role in ensuring customer orders are picked accurately, prepared efficiently and delivered on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Pick customer orders accurately from order sheets.
- Handle and move stock safely, including wines, beers and spirits.
- Palletise and wrap orders ready for dispatch.
- Book pallet collections using the Pallet Track system.
- Carry out quality and accuracy checks on orders before dispatch.
- Load and unload delivery vehicles.
- Deliver goods to customers using company vans when required.
- Participate in daily team briefings and work closely with the Cellar Manager.
- Support general warehouse operations and maintain a safe, tidy working environment.
About You
We're looking for someone who
- Holds a valid UK driving licence (insurance restrictions mean drivers must be aged 21 or over).
- Has strong attention to detail and takes pride in accurate work.
- Has a positive, can-do attitude and enjoys working as part of a team.
- Is comfortable with manual handling and physical warehouse duties.
- Can work efficiently in a busy environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Forklift experience is desirable but not essential , as full training can be provided for the right candidate.
