We are currently recruiting for an experienced Tenancy Services Housing Officer to join a well‑established social housing organisation on a temporary basis.This is an excellent opportunity for a housing professional with strong tenancy management experience who is comfortable managing a varied caseload while also providing support and supervision within a busy housing team.Your new role
- Managing a patch of tenancies and delivering a high-quality tenancy management service.
- Supporting tenants to sustain their tenancies and addressing tenancy-related issues.
- Investigating and resolving anti-social behaviour complaints.
- Managing rent arrears cases and taking appropriate recovery action.
- Conducting tenancy visits, tenancy reviews and estate inspections.
- Assisting with neighbourhood management and community engagement initiatives.
- Providing guidance, support and line management to team members where required.
- Liaising with internal departments and external agencies to achieve positive outcomes for tenants.
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience in a housing officer, tenancy services or neighbourhood housing role.
- Strong knowledge of tenancy management and housing legislation.
- Demonstrable line management or supervisory experience.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage a demanding and varied workload effectively.
- Full UK driving licence preferred.
