We are currently recruiting for an experienced Tenancy Services Housing Officer to join a well‑established social housing organisation on a temporary basis.This is an excellent opportunity for a housing professional with strong tenancy management experience who is comfortable managing a varied caseload while also providing support and supervision within a busy housing team.Your new role

  • Managing a patch of tenancies and delivering a high-quality tenancy management service.
  • Supporting tenants to sustain their tenancies and addressing tenancy-related issues.
  • Investigating and resolving anti-social behaviour complaints.
  • Managing rent arrears cases and taking appropriate recovery action.
  • Conducting tenancy visits, tenancy reviews and estate inspections.
  • Assisting with neighbourhood management and community engagement initiatives.
  • Providing guidance, support and line management to team members where required.
  • Liaising with internal departments and external agencies to achieve positive outcomes for tenants.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Previous experience in a housing officer, tenancy services or neighbourhood housing role.
  • Strong knowledge of tenancy management and housing legislation.
  • Demonstrable line management or supervisory experience.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage a demanding and varied workload effectively.
  • Full UK driving licence preferred.
