Salary, Working Hours and Benefits

  • Gross salary package: Circa £40,000 (incl. share of tronc/service charge + target led bonus)
  • Weekly working hours/days: up to 48 hours / 5 days (tbc)
  • Benefits & entitlements: 28 days paid holiday (pro rata), incentives, employer’s workplace pension, employee care and wellbeing support + more

Your role involves skillful preparation of complex Italian dishes and specialties specific to the regional theme of the establishment and its menus. You will be responsible for a series of kitchen operational duties commensurate with the job role, including training and supervising of Commi Chefs and other junior kitchen staff, and assisting in the company's impending apprenticeship scheme.

Requirements

  • Eligibility to live and work in the UK
  • Experience in the preparation of authentic high quality Italian dishes & specialties
  • Technical knowledge of ingredient quality, sourcing, measuring & formulation
  • Ideal previous experience of at least 3 years in role
  • Relevant Health & Safety credentials and knowledge of HACCP protocols
  • Resident within commutable distance of up to one hour
