Location: Glasgow East Area G69 (ideally suited for someone from the North & South Lanarkshire area with easy access to the M73/M74 and the M8).
Hours: 12 hours per week — flexible and agreed together (we’ll chat about what works for both of us). A great fit for parents/carers looking for family-friendly hours and a bit of extra work.

A bit about me (so you know the vibe): Music is a big part of my day — there’s usually something playing in the house and I collect vinyl records too. I’m also into art and science, and I’m currently revising biology and maths. I used to be a lab technician at college, and I’m doing this revising to keep my skills up to date and stay refreshed. If you’re the sort of person who can be practical, positive, and down-to-earth, we’ll get on well.
What you’ll do (the day-to-day):
- Drive me to appointments/errands.
- Support me at hospital appointments (help me keep organised, communicate clearly and get home safely).
- Social support and companionship — someone steady, chatty when needed, and respectful of quiet time too.
- Personal care as required.
- Must be comfortable working in an environment where smoking is permitted.
Who you are (the must-haves):
- Driver essential — you’ll need your own car and be comfortable driving to/from appointments/errands (fuel costs covered).
- Experience supporting someone with physical and mental health needs (essential).
- You’re reliable, calm, kind, and communicate clearly.
- You’re respectful, patient, and happy to work in a person-led way (no rushing, no judgement).
Nice-to-haves (bonus points): An interest in Dutch culture or the ability to speak Dutch would be brilliant, but if not? Still brilliant.
Sound like your kind of role? If you’re a supportive, can-do PA who’s happy to drive and wants a role that genuinely makes a difference.
