About the role:
- As Sadia’s personal assistant, you’ll provide practical support at home, helping her maintain her independence and continue enjoying the things that matter most to her.
- Support will include:
- Household tasks such as light cleaning, tidying and laundry
- Supporting Sadia with caring for her cat
- Supporting outings and attending appointments
- Assisting with practical tasks around the house
- Providing encouragement, companionship and a friendly face throughout the week.
Sadia has recently moved house; some support with settling into her new home and organising household items may also be required.
About you:
- Sadia is looking for someone who:
- Is friendly, chatty and easy to get along with
- Has a positive attitude and a good sense of humour
- Is reliable, dependable and honest
- Can use their initiative when needed
- Enjoys building a good, genuine relationship
- Is happy to work alongside Sadia while supporting her independence
An understanding of stroke and neurological conditions would be beneficial, but this isn’t essential. A willingness to learn and a positive approach are what’s important.
Hours, location and rate of pay:
- This position is based in the Robroyston area, with some time spent in the local area for outings and appointments.
- The rate of pay is £14.45 per hour.
- Working pattern: Total: 10.5 hours per week.
- A full UK Driving License and confidence to drive a manual vehicle is essential. A vehicle will be provided while on shift.
