Personal Assistant Required - Help Chase write his next chapter.

Meet Chase: Chase is a friendly, caring, and creative person who enjoys writing his book, drawing, listening to music, and spending time with animals. He has a great sense of humour and enjoys getting out and about, whether that's going for a drive, grabbing a snack, or simply enjoying good company. No two days are the same. Some days might involve heading out into the community, listening to Chase's favourite music, or spending time with animals. Other days may be more relaxed, focusing on companionship and enjoying shared interests.

How you will support Chase: As Chase's Personal Assistant, you'll support him to enjoy activities in the community, build confidence when out and about, and maintain his independence. A key part of the role is being a positive, reliable presence and someone who can offer understanding, encouragement, and a listening ear.

Who Chase is looking for: Chase would like to work with someone who is open-minded, patient, adaptable, and has a good sense of humour. The right person will be comfortable building a trusting relationship and supporting him in a person-centred and respectful way. Chase experiences a range of complex conditions, including PDA and OSDD. Previous experience in these areas would be beneficial, but it is not essential. Guidance and support will be provided—the most important qualities are a willingness to learn, a non-judgemental approach, and genuine understanding.

A driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential for this role.

Location, hours and rate of pay: The role is based in the Glasgow G13 area and involves 10 hours per week, normally spread across two days, with flexibility around how the hours are arranged. The rate of pay is £14.45 per hour. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who enjoys meaningful work, building positive connections, and helping another person take part in the activities they enjoy most.
