Maintenance Assistant to join a housing team in Glasgow on a temporary basis for an initial 4-month period. The successful candidate will provide administrative and operational support across housing maintenance, repairs and compliance activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting Gas Servicing and Electrical Inspection programmes
- Monitoring compliance information and maintaining accurate records
- Processing and checking
- Assisting with housing applications and general housing administration
- Liaising with contractors, tenants and internal teams
- Supporting the wider maintenance and repairs function
About You
We are looking for someone with previous experience working within a housing environment, ideally with knowledge of housing maintenance and repairs. You should have:
- Experience of housing maintenance or property services
- Good administrative and organisational skills
- Knowledge of compliance requirements, particularly gas and electrical safety
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Experience using Homemaster would be highly desirable
