Financial Controller to join their growing team on a permanent basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is confident taking ownership of the company's financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day financial control of the business.
- Manage sales and purchase ledgers, including sending and chasing invoices.
- Monitor debtors and creditors, ensuring payments are made and received on time.
- Process and manage company payroll accurately.
- Prepare financial reports and provide management with key financial information.
- Drive cost control initiatives and identify opportunities to reduce business expenditure.
- Maintain strong cash flow management.
- Lead and attend management meetings, providing financial insight and recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, customers and key stakeholders.
- The Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience working as a Finance Manager or in a similar senior finance role.
- Experience within a fast-paced finance environment.
- Proven experience in cost control and implementing cost-saving initiatives.
- Confident handling challenging conversations with customers, suppliers and stakeholders.
- Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage your own workload.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
