- Catering Supervisor to join our team at
HMRC Glasgow.
You will supervise a small team, ensuring a high standard of food service while delivering excellent customer service and supporting the Catering Manager in achieving operational targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and support a small team of catering staff.
- Ensure high standards of food service, hygiene and customer service.
- Deliver team briefings, training and support to catering staff.
- Manage stock, ordering, stocktakes and cash transactions.
- Complete relevant administration, audits and payroll information.
- Ensure compliance with
HACCP, COSHH, food hygiene and health & safety requirements.
- Manage allergy information and risk assessments.
- Monitor catering equipment and report any faults or defects.
- Support promotions and initiatives to increase sales.
- Attend team and client meetings when required.
- Support the Catering Manager and deputise in their absence.
- Follow all company and client policies and procedures.
- What We’re Looking For
- Previous catering experience.
- Experience carrying out a range of catering duties.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
- Computer literate and confident using IT systems.
- Understanding of relevant food safety and catering legislation.
- Willingness to complete all required training.
- Previous supervisory experience.
- NVQ or catering apprenticeship.
