This role will be within our Water Division, working on one of our current three frameworks with Scottish Water.
- SR21 DV1 : Capital works water and wastewater framework, delivered by the Caledonia Water Alliance (CWA) Joint Venture.
Primarily infrastructure and civil engineering project improving network resilient and protecting the environment.
- SR21 DV2 : Predominantly MEICA based capital maintenance framework on existing water and wastewater assets. Upgrade, refurbishment and high value capital maintenance projects
- SR27 DV4 : The integrated design and construction of civil and infrastructure projects within SW 12 years enterprise arrangement.

What you’ll be doing?
You’ll support the production and updating of CAD drawings across engineering and infrastructure projects, ensuring accuracy and adherence to standards.
You’ll organise design information, support surveys, and transfer site data into clear, well-structured drawings.
Working closely with engineers and project teams, you’ll help coordinate and issue design deliverables, keeping technical documents up to date.
You’ll follow quality processes, manage drawing storage and version control, and assist with checks and reviews as required, supporting efficient, compliant project delivery.
What you’ll bring?
- Are you confident using Auto CAD or similar CAD software to produce basic drawings with guidance?
- Can you organise and manage multiple drawing tasks and revisions effectively?
- Are you comfortable using MS Office and keeping drawing information accurate and up to date?
- Do you have good communication skills and follow structured instructions well?
- Have you gained any experience supporting technical surveys, using design documentation, or working with 3D modelling tools?
