Our client is a respected organisation within the housing sector, committed to delivering high-quality services and maintaining homes to a safe and excellent standard. Due to increased demand, they are looking for an experienced Asset Advisor to join their team on a temporary basis.
As an Asset Advisor, you will play a key role in supporting tenants and ensuring repairs are diagnosed accurately and efficiently. Working within a fast-paced environment, you will be the first point of contact for repair enquiries, gathering detailed information and determining the most appropriate course of action.
Key responsibilities include:
- Diagnosing a wide range of housing repairs over the phone and via digital channels
- Raising and scheduling repair orders with contractors
- Providing excellent customer service to tenants and stakeholders
- Assessing repair priorities and identifying emergency works where required
- Updating internal housing management and repairs systems accurately
- Liaising with contractors, operatives and internal teams to ensure repairs are completed efficiently
- Monitoring repair progress and resolving any associated queries
- Ensuring compliance with relevant policies, procedures and service standards
What you’ll need to succeed:
- Previous experience within a repairs, housing, property maintenance or asset management environment
- Strong knowledge of repairs diagnosis, including common building and maintenance issues
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to accurately assess repair needs and prioritise workloads
- Confident using multiple systems and updating records accurately
- A proactive and problem-solving approach
- Experience working within a housing association or local authority environment would be advantageous
