Summary: Provide personal care and assistance for a young child, including transport to and from activities, supervision, and support during care periods.

The role involves driving and daily care responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Transport the child to and from the specified activities and club sessions each week.
  • Provide personal care and supervision for 3 hour periods during evenings (two nights per week, flexible except Tuesdays).
  • Assist with longer outings on weekends, including visits to parks and swimming activities.
  • Manage the child's safety and comfort, including using the buggy for extended periods.
  • Maintain a safe and supportive environment for the child throughout the shifts.

Qualifications

  • Valid full driving licence and willingness to use own car.
  • Member of the PVG scheme for children (or willing to obtain).
  • Experience or aptitude for working with children, preferably in a care or support capacity.
  • Female applicant (meeting the occupational requirement in accordance with Schedule 9, Part 1 of the Equality Act 2010).
  • Working Hours and Compensation
  • 13 hours per week (two evenings per week, flexible scheduling).
  • Pay: £13.60 per hour (to be confirmed).
