Support Worker Paediatrics | Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust
This position isnot eligiblefor Skilled Worker visa sponsorship. Applicants must already hold theright to work in the UKfor the full duration of the contract.
This role will be for 22.5 hours per week ideal hours 10am -14.30pm 5 days per week, but this is NOT a term time only role, with a start date n September.
We have a unique, caring and inclusive team who are delighted to be responsible for the care of Children and Young People from 5 days to 18 years old, across Hampshire.
Our department has a 4 bedded High Dependency Unit and 22 inpatient beds.
We have close links with our Paediatric Assessment Unit, Neonatal Unit, Children's Outpatient Department, Paediatric A&E and our Children's Community Nursing Teams as well as our regional Children's Hospital in Southampton.
We promote strong interdepartmental and cross-site working relationships with both Heatherwood and Wexham Park Hospital.
You will need to be driven and prepared to deliver high quality care and attention to detail.

Main duties of the job are
- Support the delivery of person-centred care under the supervision of registered and non registered nursing staff.
- Assist patients with personal care (bathing, dressing, toileting, meals).
- Help with non-clinical duties in a ward or department.
- Ensure patient safety, dignity, and wellbeing at all times.
- Equipment cleaning on F1 Paediatric Ward and Paediatric assessment unit.
