The Best Connection are currently recruiting for Parcel Sorter Nights to work for one of our clients based at East Midlands Airport, Castle Donington. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a global leader in logistics, distribution and supply chain management, with full Aviation Training provided.

Duration: Temporary ongoing!

Shifts: Friday to Monday

Location: East Midlands Airport, Castle Donington

Requirements of a Friday to Monday Parcel Sorter Nights / Warehouse operative:

  • This is a physically demanding role involving regular manual handling and heavy lifting.
  • Candidates must be comfortable being on their feet for long periods and lifting/moving parcels throughout the shift.
  • Be willing to apply for a DBS Check (Paid for by us!).
  • Have a 5 year checkable work history (Obtained for you by us!).
  • Be willing to attend an Aviation Cargo Operative Course (Paid for by us!).
  • Flexibility is a must. Weekend work and bank holiday availability.

Role of a Friday to Monday Parcel Sorter Nights / Warehouse operative:

  • Labelling Parcels
  • Scanning Parcels
  • Uploading information onto a Computer
  • Loading, unloading and sorting parcels
  • Regular heavy lifting and manual handling duties
  • Lifting and Moving Parcels (may be up to 25kg in certain areas)
  • Quality Inspecting Cargo

Please note: This is a physically demanding warehouse role involving frequent lifting, carrying and moving of parcels, some weighing up to 25kg. Applicants must be physically fit and comfortable working on their feet throughout a 10-hour shift.

Please note: Due to the nature of our business, we are regulated by the CAA (Civil Aviation Authority), therefore it is compulsory for all applicants to provide or be willing to obtain the following:
