Female Senior Support Worker - Must be a driver
Rate: £14.03 per hour + £78.30 sleep in rate
Location: Folkestone, Kent
Permanent | Full-time | 39 hours per week (rota-based)

About the Service – Grosvenor Court
Grosvenor Court is a 13 Bedded Residential Home for Learning Disabilities, majority are all wheelchair bound and require hoisting etc., there is a lot of personal care involved as the majority are doubly incontinent. Easy access to public transport. Close to local shops.
The Role
- Deliver person-centred support in line with individual support plans
- Assist with daily living skills and personal care where required
- Promote independence, dignity and wellbeing
- Support activities, appointments, and community access
- Maintain accurate records and work effectively as part of a team
- Work a rota including evenings, weekends, bank holiday and sleep-ins
Who We’re Looking For
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated senior professional who leads with compassion, patience, and respect. You will bring a positive, resilient approach and be confident supporting both individuals and colleagues. Strong communication skills, sound judgement, and the ability to work autonomously while contributing effectively within a team are essential. Reliability, flexibility, and competent IT and written skills are also important to this role.
Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent is essential.
- Experience in supporting adults with challenging behaviour, learning disabilities and/or mental health issues.
- The ability to keep calm under pressure.
- Confidence to work alone and as part of a team.
- The passion to work with vulnerable Adults.
- The desire and commitment to achieve high standards of safeguarding.
- Driving Licence is essential.
