We're recruiting Security and Customer Service Officers to support this unique operation, managing both vehicles and passengers in a fast-paced and safety-critical environment.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a professional, personable team delivering exceptional customer service and security at one of Europe’s most important transport hubs.
What we are looking for:
- Security Licensed Customer Service Officers to work early, late and night shifts across a 24-hour operation, over a 7-day working week across various 8 & 12-hour shift patterns, 365 days a year.
- At least 18 years old.
- Valid SIA license.
- Friendly, approachable, and professional in all interactions.
- Keen to learn, grow, and contribute to a positive team culture.
- Experienced in customer-facing roles or interested in building those skills.
- Have previous experience within a SIA Security role as the role will involve passenger car searches, van, and freight scans.
- Public facing customer service experience is essential, preferably within a challenging environment.
- Flexibility to work across different areas of the business and on varied shift patterns.
- Professionalism and enthusiasm is a must as this is a busy and dynamic freight and passenger service role (full training provided).
- A pro-active, organised approach to work.
- An ability to work under pressure either on your own or as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written) and politeness are essential as there is a high level of passenger interaction.
- An awareness of Health & Safety and safe working practices is important but full training is provided.
- Building strong relationships as part of a supportive and professional team.
After completion of the onsite vetting process, candidates with a valid SIA license will have the opportunity to move into the SIA Security Officer role.

- 5-year checkable employment/education history.
- Proof of right to work in the UK documentation.
- Complete UK DBS (criminal record check) and overseas criminal record check (if applicable).
- Candidates are required to pass a safety critical medical.
- Successful candidates will need to provide original documentation for detailed screening and vetting processes.
