We're recruiting a Quality Assurance Officer to join a busy manufacturing and warehouse operation in Folkestone. This is a great opportunity for an experienced QA professional or someone looking to build a career in quality within a regulated environment. You'll play a key role in ensuring products are manufactured and distributed to the highest standards, supporting GMP compliance, managing quality documentation, and working closely with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and drive continuous improvement.

The Role

  • Promote GMP and quality standards across manufacturing and warehouse operations
  • Carry out QA activities supporting production and distribution
  • Inspect, sample and approve incoming materials and packaging
  • Review batch records and support product release
  • Investigate deviations, non-conformances and CAPAs
  • Maintain accurate GMP and quality documentation
  • Support shop floor compliance through audits, checks and training
  • Assist with complaints investigations and root cause analysis
  • Work closely with Production, Supply Chain, R&D and other key teams
  • Support KPI reporting and continuous improvement initiatives

About You

  • Experience in a QA / Quality role (regulated environment preferred)
  • Knowledge of GMP standards
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
  • Strong communicator and team player
  • Proactive, adaptable and self-motivated
