We are currently recruiting an experienced Foiling Operative to join a specialist manufacturing business in Northern Ireland. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with manufacturing or production experience looking to develop their skills within a modern, machine-based production environment.

- Salary: up to £28,000 per annum

About the Role
As a Foiling Operative, you will be responsible for applying decorative foils to uPVC profiles using specialist machinery, ensuring finished products meet the required quality standards and customer specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, operate and monitor foiling machinery in line with production schedules
- Apply decorative foils to uPVC profiles, ensuring a high-quality finish
- Carry out regular quality inspections and identify defects such as bubbling, misalignment or inconsistencies
- Ensure the correct foils, adhesives and profiles are used for each production run
- Complete production and quality documentation accurately
- Monitor machine performance and make minor adjustments where required
- Support machine changeovers and minimise production downtime
- Work as part of a team to achieve daily and weekly production targetsMaintain a clean, organised and safe working environment
- Follow all health, safety and environmental procedures
- Assist with basic maintenance and report machinery faults
- Experience in foiling, laminating or similar finishing processes
- Knowledge of uPVC window and door manufacturing
- Mechanical aptitude or experience working with production machinery
- Understanding of quality control processes
