We are looking for experienced Counterbalance FLT Drivers to join our in-plant logistics operation in Dagenham. This is a busy, hands-on role in a high-volume warehouse environment, so we need confident FLT operators who can work at pace while maintaining high standards of safety, accuracy and reliability.
What you'll be doing:
- Loading and unloading large lorries and sea containers
- Moving large pallets, metal racks and other packaging safely around the warehouse
- Carrying out stock movements and scanning materials
- Completing associated paperwork accurately
- Carrying out daily FLT pre-use checks and maintaining good housekeeping
- Working safely around pedestrians, vehicles and other warehouse activity
- Reporting any damage, defects, hazards or safety concerns promptly
What we're looking for:
- At least 5 years' recent, hands-on Counterbalance FLT experience in a busy warehouse/logistics environment
- Proven experience loading and unloading large lorries and sea containers
- Strong warehouse and material-handling experience
- Excellent FLT safety awareness and driving standards
- A proven high level of attendance, excellent timekeeping and a reliable approach to work
- The flexibility to work all three shifts on rotation
Shift pattern and overtime:
Monday-Friday rotating shifts: 06:30-14:30 | 14:30-22:30 | 22:30-06:30
What we offer:

All candidates must pass a mandatory in-plant practical FLT assessment. We are interested in your actual driving ability, not simply how long you have held a certificate. You will need to demonstrate safe, confident truck control and correct load handling in a working warehouse environment.
