Reporting to the Workshop Manager the main purpose of the role is to service and repair a wide range of plant equipment and vehicles in accordance with Company and Manufacturers Service Schedules.
As a Mobile Plant technician, you will be maintaining and supporting our fleet of plant equipment.
Responding to breakdowns and carrying out preventative maintenance as required.
What your day will look like
- Carry out scheduled Service Inspections, servicing and repairs in compliance with manufacturers specifications.
- Conduct regular servicing on machinery, plant and equipment as assigned to you.
- Diagnose and repair of complex faults in machinery, plant and equipment.
- Conduct repairs to machinery, plant and equipment, and their components.
- Contribute to the maintenance of a safe and efficient workshop and environment
- Record information digitally, including photographs on Syrinx App
- Carry out all tasks in compliance with the Company's Environmental and Health and Safety Procedures.
- Happy to work under your own initiative and has part of a team
What we need from you
- Knowledge that would be acquired through education to NVQ3 equivalent.
- Crawler Crane and Piling Rig experience
- CSCS
- Preferably experience in similar role
- Full UK driving licence (Essential)
- Commitment to carry out in house Murphy training requirements
