Are you an experienced finance professional with a background in cashiering, banking operations, treasury administration or finance operations?We're recruiting for a Cashiering & Controls Officer to join a well-established organisation in Fleet. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with financial controls, cash management and reconciliations in a fast-paced and supportive environment.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Processing and allocating daily cash receipts
  • Managing bank transactions and maintaining accurate cash records
  • Performing daily, weekly and monthly bank reconciliations
  • Investigating and resolving cash allocation discrepancies
  • Producing cash and banking reports
  • Maintaining robust financial controls and compliance procedures
  • Supporting the finance team with month-end activities
  • Identifying opportunities to improve processes and controls

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience in Cashiering, Treasury, Accounts Receivable or Finance Operations
  • Knowledge of cash allocation and bank reconciliations
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills
  • Good Excel and finance systems experience
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to manage workloads and meet deadlines
  • AAT qualified or studying towards an accounting qualification
  • Experience within a high-volume transactional finance environment
  • ERP or finance systems experience
