I am currently partnering with a growing Property business, specialising in Residential and Commercial Property, who are looking to hire a Property Accountant. Working closely with the Directors and Property Managers, this is an excellent opportunity to gain broad exposure across the business and play a key role in supporting commercial decision-making.
Your new role
You will play a key role in supporting the Directors and Property Management team. Your responsibilities will include:
- Producing monthly and quarterly management accounts and board reports
- Managing service charge accounts and annual reporting
- Overseeing daily processing of rent and service charge receipts
- Managing bank reconciliations and resolving reconciling items
- Completing and submitting VAT calculations and returns
- Liaising with operational teams and providing financial information and support
What you'll need to succeed
You'll ideally be newly or recently ACA qualified from a Midtier practice, with strong accounts preparation experience. Experience working with clients in the property / real estate industry is a bonus.
